  1. Questionnaire Form- you will need to fill out and submit *Please make sure you have your images ready to upload & submit as you won’t be able to go back to edit your filled out form. If you have any issues with the images uploading, please email them to me instead and submit all your answers in your form regardless.
  2. Pinterest Style Board- for you to create via Pinterest.com
  3. Colour Preference Form- for you to fill out and email back to me: enquiries@josephineeve.com
  4. Wardrobe Preparation- (Wardrobe Update Package clients only) Prepare your wardrobe using my steps at the bottom of this page, prior to our first session to give you the most value out of our time together.

Once I have received all of your homework we are ready to go!

Step 1- Complete the Pre-Consult Questionnaire Form

Please fill out your pre-consultation questionnaire form here. This may take between 10-30 minutes to complete. Please have your body shape & head shot images ready to upload to save you time.

*Please carefully read & follow the head shot & body shot image instruction guide below before uploading or emailing the images through.

HEADSHOT IMAGE GUIDELINES –

  • The best way to take your headshot- I’ve used natural light from the window which faces my face.
  • Please use an iPhone if you can. If you can’t find an iPhone to take the photo, you will need to notify Josephine which type of camera/phone you will be using. The reason for this is that there are filters in other phones like Samsung & Android phones that don’t show up the natural colours
  • Hair down but showing your face & not covering your eyes.
  • No glasses for the photo please.
  • Always face towards the natural light rather than the light facing behind you, as it will create shadowing.
  • Avoid taking photos outside in direct sunlight even if it’s overcast
  • Don’t take the image with your lighting on your face as they could alter your complexion in the images eg; yellow based lights makes you appear warm skin toned, blue white based light makes you appear cool skin toned.

*Please note that the lighting in your photos you send through can alter your results with the colours I recommend to you, so it is best to use natural light and an iPhone so that we nail your colours!

FULL LENGTH BODY SHOT GUIDELINES –

  • The best way to take your full body shots- I’m standing front onto the camera/mirror and am not tilting the phone, I have at least one arm by my side.
  • Please wear: either bra & undies, fitted bikini, or fitted crop top with fitted leggings or fitted shorts.
Take front on, side on and behind shot if you can. If you can only do front on shot, that is fine. You can either selfie in a full length mirror, phone facing up right (not angled from above) or you can time the photo like how I’ve done in 2 of the examples or if you have someone at home who can take them, then great.

*Please note that the full length body shot images that you send through may alter your body shape analysis and results, which effects everything so please follow the instructions when taking the photos.

Step 2- Create Your Pinterest Style Board

  1. Go to Pinterest.com and please create an account if you haven’t already (it is free & will only take 2 mins to sign up)
  2. Once your account is set up, please create a board dedicated to your styling session. Please name the board with your first and last name in the title of the board eg; [Sally Smith] Style Board. If you wish you can add sections in your board for each lifestyle area eg; Casual/Smart Casual, Work Outfits, Dressy Outfits etc…
  3. Then start pinning images you love to your board. You can use my already pre-pinned boards to select from if it is easier. To ‘Pin’ your favourite outfits and styles you will need to hover your mouse (desktop) over the image and click on the red button ‘Save’ and then select which board to save to.
  4. Once you have saved at least 30 images, please add me as a collaborator using this email only- Josephine.eve.stylist@gmail.com.
Then email me a link of your Pinterest board URL to my email address that would be great.
So the idea of this exercise is to save anything that you love or like and are inspired by, even if it’s a couple of components in the outfit you like and save it even if it doesn’t suit your shape etc.
Essentially what this exercise is designed to do is to help me to understand your underlying style, and what you gravitate towards which helps to paint a picture for me in terms of your style personality.
There is absolutely no right or wrong answer, the exercise is all about getting you inspired.
In the Style Consultation we go through your board together and we brainstorm some new outfit ideas/suggestions with you that suit your body shape, style, lifestyle etc..using some of the elements you like & love.

If you find it hard to search for what you are looking for, click on the boards below that I have created which has a broad range of styles for you to choose from in different categories-

Step 3- Fill out Colour Preference Form

Please download the form, print off (or you can use editor) to tick or circle the colours you like and gravitate towards, and cross out the ones you don’t like or resonate with.
There’s no right or wrong answer, this exercise is purely to help me understand the colours that you connect with/like and the ones you dislike.
Please email me your filled out form to- enquiries@josephineeve.com

Step 4- Wardrobe Edit Preparation

(Wardrobe Update Package Clients Only- this does not apply to Personal Shopping Package clients).

Before your Wardrobe Edit session you will need to make sure the following has been completed.

1. WARDROBE PRE-CULL INSTRUCTIONS-

  • To utilise our session time more effectively, please review & cull your clothing with stains or discolouration, holes or rips, overly stretched clothing: denim, Ponte, linen, knitwear fabrics, Clothing that has shrunk or is too tight fitting now, old/scuffed or stained shoes which can’t be revived, tarnished or broken jewellery that can’t be repaired, Pieces that have been worn out and possibly need replacing (* Make a pile of the replace items to show me).

2. WARDROBE PREP/ORGANISATION STEPS-

  • Have all of your shoes lined up (unboxed) next to each other on the floor where they won’t get in the way as well as jewellery and accessories to be laid out on a table or wherever convenient.
  • All items from the wash need to be dried in time so that we don’t miss out any pieces to style/edit
  • All items in the one room/wardrobe if possible so we don’t miss anything out.
  • You have at least a few large black plastic garbage bags available as we will be filling these up with pieces that no longer make you happy and giving them away to others or charity.
